![]() ![]() NB: There is an older Forum titled "Antenna installer qualifications" (I was unable to get the Post Link? to work) which refers to a TERRAMANN (sic?) 1720 DVB-T which I assume is the same instrument? This post is 2 years old. The more I look at this site, the more I realise I have to learn, but any advice would be appreciated. ![]() I was told by an electrical wholesaler that the TD5 is for guys who "don't do much TV" and the TD6 is used by Installers. I note the T40 does not do constellation diagrams, and the 12MM-TD6 does? Will I need the constellation diagrams?Īlso, what about the Telemann 12MM-TD5 (1500) (approx $600)? I gather from the specifications in the catalogue that it doesn't appear to measure BER at all, and from what I am learning from the regulars on this site, I can rule that model out. However most of the posts in support of the T40 seem to be somewhat dated so I am wondering if the T40 still holds this mantle?Ĭan anyone please offer any comparison with the Telemann 12MM-TD6 (1720 OFDM) (approx $1800) in the current (June 2009) Matchmaster catalogue? ![]() As a NOOB who intends to work within the limitations of my knowledge!, I have been researching this forum for advice with my first Terrestrial FSM purchase and have noted with interest the popularity of the Unaohm T40 FSM (approx $2200 incl). ![]()
